Moth [Indie Exclusive Milky Clear]
$42.98  42.98
chart cover
Triple-Gatefold trans. Milky clear 2LP & LP-Booklet (US version) The Moth is Devin Townsend's most ambitious work to date, a project that has existed in his mind as his life's work - an immersive orchestral, choral, and theatrical project over a decade in the making. What began as a distant vision became reality when Townsend was invited to collaborate with the North Netherlands' Orchestra and Choir. Unlike his previous genre-hopping worlds, The Moth was conceived from the ground up as a fully orchestrated narrative. Townsend spent years relearning musical fundamentals to write the score himself: harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration rebuilt from scratch, expertly assisted by Joseph Stevenson. The result is a meticulously crafted, emotionally driven piece where every instrument and voice has space to speak. Recorded across more than ten countries, the album brings together an extraordinary global cast: the aforementioned North Netherlands Orchestra and Choir, long-time collaborators Darby Todd, Mike Keneally, James Leach, and guests including Steve Vai, Anneke Van Giersbergen & Lynn Wu (Ou). Hundreds of musicians, engineers, mixers and artists contributed to the project's massive creative ecosystem. At it's core, The Moth is about transformation. Through it's soaring arrangements and intimate moments, the work explores self-acceptance, surrender, and the courage to face discomfort without turning away. The Moth is about the journey-but it is also about arrival. The Moth will be available on several formats including Ltd Deluxe 3CD+Blu-ray Artbook that includes the album on CD1, 'The Moth - The Afterlife' on CD2 & 'The Moth - The War (Live)' on CD3. The Blu-ray includes the full 'The Moth - The War' live film, as well as Dolby Atmos & High Resolution Stereo Mixes of the 'The Moth' and 'The Moth - The Afterlife'. It will also be available as Limited 2CD Edition (including 'The Moth-The Afterlife' on CD2), Standard CD Jewelcase and as Gatefold Triple-Gatefold 180g 2LP & Fold-Out LP-booklet, as well as digitally.

Foxy Lady (30th Anniversary) (Remastered)
$36.99  36.99
chart cover

RuPaul’s Foxy Lady is a high-gloss, funk-infused pop statement that captures the superstar at the height of her ’90s cultural takeover. Released in 1996 as the follow-up to her breakthrough Supermodel of the World, the album delivered club-ready hits like “Snapshot,” which became a Top 5 smash on the Billboard Dance chart and solidified RuPaul’s status as a dance-floor powerhouse.

Foxy Lady blends house, R&B, and glitter-coated pop with Ru’s signature charisma, weaving empowerment, camp, and diva bravado into every hook. The album’s vibrant production - courtesy of Eric Kupper, Richard “Humpty” Vission, and other dance heavyweights - makes it feel like a runway playlist built for strutting and celebrating.

Though overlooked by mainstream radio at the time, it became a fan-favorite era, widely embraced in clubs and by LGBTQ+ audiences who saw RuPaul pushing drag into the pop mainstream long before it was common. Today, Foxy Lady stands as a bold, joyfully unapologetic snapshot of RuPaul’s expanding empire - an album that still sparkles with confidence, glamour, and attitude.

Co-produced by Moore alongside Andrew DeRoberts, Reason To Believe will be led by the first single “Levee.”

$29.98  29.98

Five years ago, Curren$y proved once again that while the rest of the world might hit the brakes, the Jet Life never stalls. Released in the early months of 2021, Collection Agency arrived as a masterclass in "work-from-home" luxury-a smooth, ten-track victory lap that solidified Curren$y's status as the most consistent architect in underground hip-hop. Clocking in at just under 24 minutes, Collection Agency is the sonic equivalent of a pristine, low-mileage 911 Turbo. It's lean, expensive-sounding, and devoid of filler. While the world was still grappling with a sense of stagnation, Spitta was in the garage, documenting the rewards of a decade-plus grind. The 10-track release marks his 11th solo studio album, and 90th overall project. Even more impressively, the quality has remained consistent throughout his prolific career. The Louisiana rapper links up with several notable producers on the project including DJ. Fresh, Harry Fraud, Rsonist of The Heatmakerz, Trauma Tone, Purps, & Black Metaphor. We also see an appearance by longtime friend and collaborator, Larry June. The Smell of Rain [RSD Essentials Clear w/Cream & Black Splatter]
$35.98  35.98
chart cover
2001's 'The Smell Of Rain' heralded seismic changes for Emperor alumnus Mortiis. Mortiis stepped up to the microphone as a lead vocalist for the first time, and the album expanded to encompass more live musicians, ushering in a metamorphosis in his sound. Closer to synthpop in parts, the album clutched more tightly onto its industrial rock sensibilities and became significantly more refined and propulsive as a result. It had a lithe groove, subtle catchiness, and a thrumming, murky energy. Looking back now, it was a truly unique release for Mortiis amidst the rest of his discography. 25 years on, the record's forward-thinking, open-minded quality means it hardly feels out of place in 2026, where melding genres feels more natural than staying in just one lane. To celebrate, it is receiving its first pressing to vinyl since its original year of release.

Marvin Gaye always dreamed of being a smooth crooner, "sitting on a stool, possibly behind a piano," delivering velvety songs like Nat King Cole. But Motown had other plans. Pushed between raw R&B and polished pop, Gaye fought to find his own voice, eventually rising to become one of the greatest soul singers in history. Motown Records released the first Marvin Gaye record in 1961 "(I'm Afraid) The Masquerade Is Over", a single intended for (radio) promotion from the singer's debut album. This was followed up by the officially released "Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide" a week later. Gaye scored his first real hit with "Stubborn Kind of Fellow" in 1962, which he had co-written himself, joking about his alleged stubbornness. He found his own unique style with the single released at the end of the year: "Hitch Hike". The foundations were now laid for an enormous series of chart successes: "Pride And Joy", "Can I Get A Witness", "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" and "Ain't That Peculiar" are all Motown classics from 1963-1965 which are still being regularly played today after all these years. The duets he recorded with Kim Weston ("It Takes Two"), especially Tammi Terrell and Diana Ross were certainly at least as good. He scored his biggest ever hit with "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" in 1968. "What's Going On" from the same titled album became a number 1 hit in the USA and the album was received as a masterpiece and is regarded as one of the most important records in pop history. In 1973, the artistically and commercially very successful, "Let's Get It On" album was mainly a musical ode to Marvin's love for his new muse Janis Hunter. His journey continued after a turbulent relationship, addiction and a dramatic creative rebirth in Belgium, where he crafte the global hit "Sexual Healing" in 1982. Marvin Gaye left behind timeless hits, groundbreaking albums, and a legacy that shaped the sound of modern soul. His story, from ambition to artistry, from struggle to brilliance, remains as powerful as the music he created. Music On Vinyl proudly presents a special coloured edition of the Marvin Gaye Collected album which is available as a limited edition of 10,000 individually numbered copies on white (LP1) and silver coloured vinyl (LP2) and includes a booklet with liner notes.

Elaenia - 10th Anniversary Edition W/ Kuiper EP
$43.99  43.99
chart cover
It's the 10th anniversary of the record that paved the way for PROMISES. When we first released ELAENIA, Sam Shepherd had already made a name for himself through traveling the world as a DJ, and developing the now legendary club Plastic People in London, together with his friends. He had been working on this album for more than five years, and even built (invented?) an instrument that would draw the album cover, based on the music of the album. This was his first ever full-length release, and he rose to the occasion: Broken beat, spiritual jazz and krautrock, revered by the critics - earning one of the highest scores that year from Pitchfork, back when that meant something. Even before it was released, it was the music that Pharoah Sanders first heard by him, which set the foundation for their later collaboration. A lot has happened in the last 10 years, but this record still kills - and more than anything shows his origins. This limited, color anniversary edition includes a new bonus track on the LP ("Precursor"), and also comes with the KUIPER EP, all in a hand-numbered gatefold jacket.

King Of Memphis (10 Yr) - Royalty Blue/Gold (Blue)
$29.98  29.98
chart cover
1xLP, Pressed on Royalty Blue & Gold A Side B Side Vinyl. Includes insert & housed in a gatefold jacket. Ten years ago, Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. Planted his flag. Released on February 19, 2016, King of Memphis wasn't just a debut studio album; it was a bold declaration of independence and a flawless blueprint for self-made success. To celebrate a decade of this foundational Southern rap masterpiece, Paper Route Empire is honoring Young Dolph's legacy with a series of exclusive, limited-edition 10th Anniversary vinyl variants. Before King of Memphis, Dolph had already built a massive underground following through a relentless run of mixtapes. But this official debut elevated him from a local hero to a national powerhouse. By bypassing the major label system and releasing the project entirely through his own Paper Route Empire (PRE), Dolph proved that undeniable talent, relentless hustle, and business savvy were all you needed to take the crown. The album peaked in the Top 50 of the Billboard 200, an incredible feat for a fiercely independent artist at the time, and cemented his status as a CEO who called his own shots. King of Memphis is all killer, no filler. Over 11 tracks, Dolph's signature slow-flow delivery and larger-than-life charisma glide over heavy-hitting, trap-defining production from a legendary lineup of producers, including Mike WiLL Made-It, Zaytoven, TM88, and Cassius Jay. With zero guest features, the project relies entirely on Dolph's magnetic presence. From the motivational hustler's anthem "Get Paid" to the menacing confidence of "Let Me See It" and "Royalty, " the album plays like a victory lap for a self-made king.

The single "We Outlast Them All" from this latest, Crawlspace Of The Pantheon, is an anthemic victory lap on album #44 from the indie rock stalwarts. Robert Pollard told Rolling Stone: " 'We Outlast Them All' could be our 'We Are The Champions' but it's not necessarily about us. It's about anyone who perseveres over a long period of time." On Crawlspace Of The Pantheon: "I worked much more diligently on this set of lyrics. I chiseled away at lines and sections and phrasings... I wanted them to have an overall emotionally conceptual feel. At times it feels somewhat autobiographical."Guided by Voices will not be on tour in 2026. Pollard recently told Magnet: "Why would we stop playing live and make these kinds of records? I don't know. We do what we wanna do.""Pollard is the greatest rock lyricist of all time." -Dennis Cooper

They Call Us The Lucky Ones [Indie Exclusive Electric Smoke]
$24.98  24.98
chart cover
They Call Us The Lucky Ones is a road-worn portrait of modern Americana — songs about movement, memory, love, and survival, exploring the space between freedom and consequence where highways replace homes and connection becomes the true measure of success. The album tells stories of outsiders and drifters, chosen family and lost friends, broken systems and restless ambition — and the ghosts we carry no matter how far we run. Yet for all its hard-earned perspective, the record carries an undeniable sense of hope: a clarity that comes from a life lived in motion, the humor found along the way, and the simple joy of playing music with people you trust. It’s a record that knows how to have a good time without losing its soul. This collection of ten songs finds Ryan Bingham at his best — where life isn’t always about perfection or redemption, but about connection. Because no matter how far you go, how fast you run, or how loud the music gets, all that matters is the people and stories you carry with you along the way.

Hell Awaits - 40th Anniversary [3LP Box Set]
$125.98  125.98

“It’s the record where Slayer became Slayer.” That’s what Kerry King says about Hell Awaits. And he knows of what he speaks. As the band’s guitarist, co-songwriter and co-lyricist, he was in the trenches with vocalist/bassist Tom Araya, guitarist Jeff Hanneman (R.I.P.) and drummer Dave Lombardo, creating what has become one of heavy metal’s greatest albums. A significant departure from Slayer’s 1983 debut, Show No Mercy—and every Slayer album that came after it—Hell Awaits is both an outlier and a solidification of form. Show No Mercy was the mission statement, but Hell Awaits is a more developed and intricate execution of Slayer’s speed, chops, and aggression. Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, Hell Awaits is the second studio album by American thrash metal masters, Slayer. The crucial album was initially released on April 8th 1985, by Metal Blade Records, who, in honor of Hell Awaits's 40th anniversary, will be unleashing unique physical releases, along with a digital release for fans.

Sex Pistols / Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols, an album that rewired 20 years of rock in under 40 minutes, is available today from Rhino High Fidelity (Rhino Hi-Fi), the premium vinyl reissue series. Released in 1977, it debuted at #1 on the U. K. charts despite being banned by major retailers and causing widespread controversy. Bristling with broadsides like "Anarchy In The U. K. ," "God Save The Queen," "Pretty Vacant," and "Holidays In The Sun," the album distilled rage and disillusionment into a single, unrelenting statement. In the album's new liner notes, producer Chris Thomas recalls how the band found their recording approach almost by accident during an early session. "We put down a track, just rhythm guitar and drums, pretty much first-take, no mistakes. It was impossible to know if it was any good, so, being a bit stumped, I asked Steve if he would like to have a go at putting the bass part on. Instead of playing a traditional bass line, he simply mirrored his guitar an octave lower-an unexpected move that snapped everything into focus. "It was an absolute 'Eureka!' moment," Thomas recalls. "The combination was so powerful, so simple. We bashed three more songs down, adding the bass and double-tracking the guitar in just a couple of hours. We were seriously in first-take territory. "

Undying Love For A Burning World [Yellow/Red]
$42.98  42.98
chart cover
Evolution can be ugly and beautiful, painful and euphoric. An Undying Love For A Burning World is the first new release from Neurosis in a decade, and a potent statement of intent and rebirth-one that marks the first new steps of resolve and resilience. An Undying Love For A Burning World is an epic album of colossal hypnotism-beautiful, fearsome and utterly compelling in a way that only Neurosis can be. Aaron Turner (Sumac, Isis) joins the band on vocals and guitar, a name whose legacy is intertwined with the band's own and a true kindred spirit. Neurosis have never been afraid of change, and here they embrace endless regeneration, surrendering to the emotional exorcism through heaviness and distortion that their music incites. Just as the universe tends towards balance, Neurosis' cacophony of noise, rhythm and dissonance always resolves towards moments of beauty. The addition of Turner's powerful vocals and wildly creative and unhinged approach to guitar proves to be a vital force as Neurosis find themselves again at the mercy of evolution and expression. The album was recorded by Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City, Sumac, and Great Falls) at Studio Litho in Seattle during three weekends this winter, and mixed in three days just six weeks before release at Evan's Antisleep Audio in Oakland. Neurosis will play their first show in seven years on the traditional lands of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana as part of the Fire In The Mountains festival by special invitation of Firekeeper Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to reducing youth suicide in Indian Country.

Since his earliest recordings began circulating online in 2009, Toro y Moi has stood out not only for his prolific output but for his fearless evolution. Across each release, Chaz Bear has expanded his sonic universe, blurring genre lines and redefining modern pop in the process. His third full-length album, Anything in Return, marked a defining moment - a breakthrough that solidified his place at the forefront of alternative and chillwave music in the 2010s.Originally released to widespread acclaim and selling nearly 150, 000 copies, Anything in Return captures Bear at the height of his powers. Blending funk, psych-pop, and vibrant, glitch-laced electronics, the album balances sleek, intuitive pop songwriting with adventurous, producer-driven textures. Hip-hop-indebted vocal samples, steady 4/4 grooves, and house-inspired flourishes underscore tracks like "High Living" and "Day One, " while the brooding lead single "So Many Details" reveals a darker, more introspective edge. The result is a record that feels both meticulously crafted and effortlessly immediate - a statement of artistic identity unbound by genre.Created following Bear's move from South Carolina to Berkeley, California, Anything in Return reflects a period of transition and distance, channeling personal change into lush, forward-thinking sound. There's a palpable sense of confidence throughout - a songwriter fully embracing his instincts as a producer, merging emotional candor with rhythmic sophistication. To celebrate it's 10-year anniversary, Anything in Return is available for the first time on picture disc, arriving in record stores and via Carpark Records on April 14, 2023.Since it's release, Toro y Moi has continued to shape the musical landscape - headlining international tours, producing for major artists including SZA, performing on national television, and appearing at global festivals such as Coachella and Fuji Rock - cementing his legacy as one of his generation's most inventive voices.

Dying Light: Beast - O.S.T. [Colored Vinyl]
$45.98  45.98
chart cover
In Dying Light: The Beast, you step back into Kyle Crane's skin, but he's no longer the man he once was. Years of experiments have left him torn between fragile humanity and a monstrous power that he can barely control. Every light, every shadow, every choice feels dangerous. The forests and ruins of Castor Woods don't just set the stage, they breathe, they watch, and they punish the reckless. This is survival stripped to the bone, where horror is not just outside, but inside you.Olivier Deriviere's powerful and capturing score for Dying Light: The Beast doesn't just accompany Crane's journey, it is his voice. Sometimes it whispers in empty rooms, fragile and broken, sometimes it roars with distorted rhythms and pounding drums when the Beast takes over. Between silence and sound, the music pulls you deeper into Kyle's fractured soul, making every step and every heartbeat part of the story. It's not just a soundtrack, it's the echo of a man losing, and maybe finding, himself.

Feet On Fire

Ben Chapman is a road warrior who has spent the previous three years in a whirlwind of activity — writing songs for friends like Hayes Carll, Brent Cobb, and Marcus King; making his Grand Ole Opry debut; and releasing three acclaimed albums of country-fried funky-tonk, but nothing could have prepared him for what 2025 would bring him. His new record 'Feet on Fire' captures that period of wild transition, with songs inspired by Chapman's marriage to fellow songwriter Meg McRee and the arrival of the couple's first child. On songs like the guitar-driven title track, Chapman mixes Pink Floyd atmosphere with Crazy Horse crunch, showcasing the full spread of his musical influences. Elsewhere, he tips his hat to his southern roots with the laidback, loping "Out in the Country" and the Stax-sized soul ballad "Missing You." Produced by Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Anderson East, Feet on Fire captures Ben Chapman as we've never heard him before: his back against the wall and his heart full, determined not only to meet the challenges up ahead, but to write about the process, too.

Giddy Up / Big Attraction (10 Year Anniversary)
$25.98  25.98
chart cover
Ten years ago, in a sharehouse on Chapel Street, four 20-year-olds with zero expectations wrote and recorded an EP in a single afternoon. Those six blistering minutes of music became Giddy Up. An hour later, Amyl and The Sniffers had a name, a Bandcamp upload, and the beginnings of a legacy. Following a year of backyard gigs, playing for friends and partying across Melbourne's sticky carpet music scene, the band released their iconic second EP Big Attraction in 2017. Now, to celebrate a decade of raw power and reckless spirit, Giddy Up/Big Attraction returns in a definitive 10th anniversary 12-inch vinyl edition - fully remastered for maximum punch. Featuring early classics like "I'm Not A Loser" and "Stole My Pushbike," plus enduring live favourites "Balaclava Lover Boogie" and "Westgate," this is the sound of Amyl and The Sniffers before the world caught up - feral, funny, and unstoppable. The LP is housed in a gatefold sleeve showcasing Chris Sutherland's iconic 2017 band photo, alongside an exclusive new essay from Amy Taylor and a heap of never-before-seen behind-the-scenes shots from the band's earliest days by Jamie Wdziekonski. As Amy recalls: "We recorded and wrote over the afternoon... we'd never played together before that day... it's spontaneous, and fun and achievable in that time because to us it sounded more than good and we weren't perfectionists and it didn't matter." From DIY house shows in Melbourne to international stages, it all started here.

All Our Gods Have Abandones Us (10th Anniversary)
$24.98  24.98
chart cover
All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us celebrates 10 years since the release in 2016 with a newly remixed and remastered presentation, along with reimagined artwork. Recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden All Our Gods... is the heaviest and darkest work to which - frontman Sam Carter, bassist Ali Dean, guitarists Adam Christianson and Tom Searle, and the latter's twin brother drummer, Dan Searle have ever put their name to, both on and below it's surface. It is an album that challenges and progresses a genre long thought to have stagnated, and embraces it's inspirations at a time when many rock and metal bands seek to hide them in search of mainstream acceptance. It is also born from considered minds filled not by thoughts of being the biggest band in the world, but of making a difference. Architects are, for that reason, a band like few others; they are five young men who stand for something, and who possess an intelligence, awareness and spirit that inform the very fiber of their band. The quintet all practice a vegan lifestyle, tour with a consciousness about their footprint on the world, and who devote time and energies to environmental causes. The worldwide anger and disillusion encapsulated in All Our Gods... wrestles with contemplations of death, god and faith in search of some semblance of hope for a world increasingly consumed by fear, anger and confusion. This album is Architects statement of intent to the world, it is time to stand up, take notice and be counted.

Oshin
$24.98  24.98
chart cover
DIIV's seminal debut record Oshin returns to shelves with newly reimagined album art! The first offering from DIIV chemically fuses the reminiscent with the half-remembered, building a musical world out of old-air and new breeze. These are songs that remind us of love in all it's earthly perfections and perversions. A lot of DIIV's magnetism was birthed in the process Zachary Cole Smith went through to discover these initial compositions in the thick of summer, holed up in an AC-less, window-facing corner of a painter's studio in Bushwick. He surrounded himself with cassettes and LP's, the likes of Lucinda Williams, Arthur Russell, Faust, Nirvana, and Jandek; writings of N. Scott Momaday, James Welsh, Hart Crane, Marianne Moore, and James Baldwin; and dreams of aliens, affection, spirits, and the distant natural world (as he imagined it from his window facing the Morgan L train). The resulting music is as cavernous as it is enveloping, asking you to get lost in it's tangles in an era of short form con- tent and endless scrolling.

Hope and Fury [180 Gram]
$27.98  27.98
chart cover
Hope and Fury is the new studio album by Grammy-winning artist Joe Jackson, written and recorded between Berlin and New York City.

The album features nine new songs performed with Jackson’s longtime band – Graham Maby (bass), Teddy Kumpel (guitar), Doug Yowell (drums) – and Peruvian percussionist Paulo Stagnaro.

Produced by Joe Jackson with Patrick Dillett, Hope and Fury marks a return to what Jackson calls his “own mainstream”: sophisticated pop songs drawing from rock, jazz, funk, and Latin influences – or, in his words, “Bicoastal LatinJazzFunkRock.”

Opening track “Welcome to Burning-By-Sea” describes a fictional seaside town inspired Jackson’s hometown Portsmouth – a sharp portrait that becomes a microcosm of an entire country. “End of the Pier” contrasts British life in 1922 with its post-pandemic reflection a century later, while “I’m Not Sorry,” “Fabulous People,” and “Do Do Do” showcase Jackson’s trademark humour, from biting sarcasm to playful mockery. Other highlights include the bittersweet “Made God Laugh” and the tender closing ballad “See You In September.”

Musically, Hope and Fury recalls the spirit of 1982’s Night and Day, 1991’s Laughter and Lust, and 2019’s Fool. Like those albums, it overflows with great tunes, clever lyrics, and groove – with Jackson’s vocals and keyboard playing as strong as ever.

Mysterious Production Of Eggs (20th Anniversary)
$149.98  149.98
chart cover
In 2005, Andrew Bird was a previously unimaginable combination of virtuoso violinist, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and whistler. With that year's album The Mysterious Production of Eggs, his second on Righteous Babe Records, Bird minted a new sound that continues to be imitated and set down classic songs that still anchor many a live performance. The recording sessions lived up to the name when he recorded and scrapped the album three times, traveling between studios in Chicago, Los Angeles and his own home studio on a farm in Northern Illinois. The mystery was solved with the aid of David Boucher, whose studio credits at the time included Paul Westerberg, Lisa Loeb, and Randy Newman. Bird played most of the instruments on Mysterious Production of Eggs, joined by a handful of special guests complimenting his already lush sonic palette. The result was a powerhouse of a record dealing with nothing less than the mysteries of childhood, creativity and modern science-epic in scope and minute in detail.

Kammerkonzert
$36.99  36.99
chart cover
Polylined inner sleeve in gatefold outer sleeve. Tom Jenkinson, aka Squarepusher, presents Kammerkonzert, a riot of onyx-hard, hyperfast riffs, fiendish orchestral themes, and handbrake turns through varieties of progressive, ambient, electronic andexperimental music. The singular producer, experimental musician and creator of futuristic forms of fusion, has a three-decade-long back catalogue studded with a variety of jewel-like records. From the furious breakbeat acid and pulverising live bass guitar attack of Feed Me Weird Things (1996) to the literal and self-explanatory Music For Robots (2014) via the virtuosic live showcase of Solo Electric Bass 1 (2009) and the otherworldly concrète jazz of Ultravisitor (2004) few contemporary musicians have covered as much ground in as sure-footed a manner. But despite this reach, his three decade output is only typified by two things: unpredictability and rule breaking. Given that his new album on Warp, Kammerkonzert, is essentially a chamber concerto with Jenkinson himself playing all of the parts it's safe to say he has come a long way since his crystalline drum & bass debut for the label in 1996, Port Rhombus EP. Twenty-one albums in, Kammerkonzert is the start of a new era for Squarepusher as a composer.

Signal Fire [Orchard Indie Exclusive Custom Merge]
$25.98  25.98
chart cover

With their fourth full-length album Signal Fire, GENGHIS TRON awaken us from the post-apocalyptic daydreams of their previous work with a violent—and most welcome—shove. This time, the distant-future reveries we first heard on Board Up The House give way to an unsettling awareness of the present we’re actually living, as our circumstances grow too pressing to try and escape.

“Signal Fire envisions a Kojima-esque dystopia of endless proxy warfare,” says vocalist and lyricist Tony Wolski (The Armed), “where the deluge of available information has outmoded the human ability to parse it.  A world where those amoral, shameless and cunning enough can literally reshape reality at their whim through sheer insistence."

Having roared onto the scene in 2004 with a uniquely demented blend of extreme metal, synthesizer textures, and drum-machine madness, GENGHIS TRON are no strangers to making a forceful impression. But Signal Fire marks the first time bandleaders Michael Sochynsky and Hamilton Jordan –joined again by Wolski and Nick Yacyshyn (SUMAC) on drums, plus newcomer Kenny Szymanski (The Armed) on bass–has captured this level of urgency with such  visceral precision.  “This album is very much rooted in the now,” confirms Jordan.

Album opener “I Am All” sets the table with a chest-throbbing synth pulse as Wolski declares “I’m on a tear, I’m on a tear,” over swirling industrial rhythms and creeping synthlines. “Nothing Blooms in the Hollow” grafts desert-rock swagger onto interlocking layers of dizzying riffs and chants before Wolski steers the band into full-on sonic burnout, like a spaceship careening into the sun. “Born Prey” navigates deftly through Genghis Tron’s classic sonic touchpoints: furious blastbeats, electronic breaks, haunting vocal earworms, and a towering synth-pop crescendo. Meditative interludes like “Like Fotocrom” and “Without Form” deliver shimmering, ominous beauty. And “New Gods” invokes Rabies-era Skinny Puppy to bring the album to a bludgeoning, anthemic finale, as Wolski screams on repeat: “New gods to bleed me out / No new peace / Bleed me out / I love it.”

Twenty years into their career, having proven their ability to forge common ground between Ministry and Aphex Twin, between Brutal Truth and Boards Of Canada, between Cluster and Converge, ugly-beautiful new genre hybrids from GENGHIS TRON no longer come as a surprise.  What’s remarkable, however, is how Sochynsky and Jordan have taken a project that started in 2004 as a dorm-room genre-pastiche experiment —”a chaotic, wild amalgamation of all our favorite stuff, literally slammed together,” says Jordan—and refined their songwriting craft to deliver a sound that is unmistakably their own.

You Got This [Indie Exclusive Purple]
$34.98  34.98
chart cover
Newport’s reggae-metal soundsystem Skindred were already renowned as an exhilarating live band, but 2023’s ‘Smile’ album changed the game. It shot to #2 in the UK charts, followed by a packed headline show at Wembley Arena, and led them to become proud winners of Best Alternative Act at the MOBO Awards.
But how can you possibly top that? For Skindred and the upcoming ‘You Got This’ album, the answer was simple. You come out fighting with a lean, all-killer-no-filler set that distils everything that people love about them - hard-hitting slammers, mega addictive hooks, earwormy soundclash elements, and dancehall vibes destined to ignite festivals and live shows across the globe.
And in Benji Webbe, they have the ultimate frontman — a man whose wild enthusiasm is instantly contagious, delivering the album’s other great strength: an adrenaline shot of pure motivation. His phenomenally powerful vocals are balanced with lighter, melodic moments of emotion that champion self-belief, resilience, and finding joy in the small things that make life worth living – he’s the loudest life coach you’ll ever meet.
So, for Skindred, the ‘Smile’ wave of discovery was just the start of more adventures to follow. Where it takes them is yet to be written, but one thing is certain: they got this.

The World Is To Dig [180 Gram Honey Mustard]
$34.99  34.99
chart cover
Limited Honey Mustard vinyl LP pressing. They Might Be Giants treat the entire history of popular music as a trampoline rather than a rulebook. Like two pinballs pinging off of each other through musical murals stretching into a giddy ether, TMBG moves by ricochet. On their album The World Is to Dig, the multi- Grammy- winning duo continue bouncing through the pop multiverse, digging into whatever they find with playful zeal. John Linnell and John Flansburgh continue to fire ideas off one another like particles in a perpetual motion experiment, each collision producing a new angle, a new melodic left turn, resulting in tracks packed with esoteric references, mischievous details, and left- field detours. Untethered from trends, immune to nostalgia, and equally ready to draw from Tin Pan Alley theatrics and contemporary pop culture references, The World Is to Dig is the sound of a band very much in motion; not chasing relevance, but generating it on their own terms.

Snocaps
$25.98  25.98
chart cover
Allison and Katie Crutchfield (aka Waxahatchee) have formed a new band called Snocaps. Their 13-track debut album, released digitally as a surprise, will be made available on April 17, 2026 in vinyl & CD formats. An indie-rock record that recalls Allison’s band Swearin’ and Katie’s early records as Waxahatchee, Snocaps was born out of the twin sisters’ desire to work on music together as they had in their teens and twenties. Allison and Katie are backed by friends and close collaborators Brad Cook and MJ Lenderman. The album was produced and almost entirely engineered by Cook, and all four musicians play multiple instruments across the record.

Everything All The Time (20th Anniversary) [Colored Vinyl]
$33.99  33.99
chart cover
Achieving musical transcendence is a tricky feat. If it happens - a big if - it does so naturally, and perhaps nobody knows that better than Band of Horses, whose landmark debut Everything All The Time still, after twenty years, feels as vital and, dare we say, transcendent as when it came out in 2006. Guitarist/vocalist Ben Bridwell formed Band of Horses in Seattle in 2004, after the end of his nearly ten-year run in northwest melancholic darlings Carissa's Wierd. Carissa's Wierd trafficked in beautiful orchestral pop, whose songs told unflinching stories of heartbreak and loss, leavened with defeatist humor. Band of Horses rose from the ashes of that well-loved band, buoyed by Bridwell's warm, reverb-heavy vocals, and woodsy, dreamy songs oozing with tension, longing and hope. Armed with a fresh Sub Pop deal and a smashing batch of songs, the band recorded their debut full-length, Everything All the Time, with producer Phil Ek at Seattle's Avast studios. At times raggedly epic ("The Great Salt Lake") and delicately pensive ("St. Augustine," "Monsters"), Everything All The Time is an album painted gorgeously in fragile highs and lows. That's part of the genius in Band of Horses: they craft intelligent, classic movements within their songs, perfectly balancing desperation and hope, calmness and mania, love and fear. And of course there's the massive single, "The Funeral," which became a defining song of the era, and continues to inspire new generations of fans and artists alike. On top of tons of film and TV placements, the song was sampled by Kid Cudi, and transformed into a 2025 dance edit by acclaimed producer/multi-instrumentalist Gryffin. Now, on the occasion of the 20th birthday of the album, Sub Pop and Band of Horses present the definitive snapshot of the band circa Everything All The Time. For this anniversary release, the album has been fully remastered, with the artwork refreshed and expanded into a gatefold jacket with liner notes by Phil Ek. And the album is accompanied by an additional LP of bonus tracks, including the 2005 tour EP, a trove of previously unreleased studio and live tracks, and rarities like "The End's Not Near" (as featured on The O.C.) and a demo version of "The Funeral."

's Make It (Verve Vault Series) [180 Gram]
$27.98  27.98
chart cover
'S Make It, recorded in 1964 and released the following year on Limelight, captures drummer Art Blakey leading a transitional edition of his Jazz Messengers. At the time, Blakey was navigating the departure of several key members and searching for a new configuration, resulting in a distinctive short-lived lineup within the band's long history. The sextet featured Lee Morgan (trumpet,) Curtis Fuller (trombone,) John Gilmore (tenor saxophone,) John Hicks (piano,) and Victor Sproles (bass.) Together, they delivered a hard-driving program that reflects both Blakey's established hard-bop intensity and the shifting personnel landscape of the mid-1960s Messengers. Blakey's drumming anchors the session throughout with the galvanic rhythmic command that defined his leadership across decades. The Verve Vault Series is always mastered from analog tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.

No matter the tempo, rhythm, or complexity of the arrangement, the three players breathe as one on these recordings, phrasing as if controlled by a single heartbeat. These new-to-the-world recordings, made in Peterson's prime at the longest continuously operating jazz club in the US, remind you that there will never be anyone else like Oscar Peterson.

Bolt Thrower’s fifth album For Victory both imagines scenes of terror and creates its soundtrack. With track titles like ‘Remembrance’, ‘Lest We Forget’ and ‘Forever Fallen’, its central theme screams out from the back of the vinyl case – this album is a plunge into the horrors of a warzone. Alongside that, it’s also a ravaging exercise in sonic brutality, viciously heavy yet with an artfulness to their riffs, thanks to their adeptness in fret-searing soloing. A must have record for any Death Metal collection.

Vengeance and Grace [Indie Exclusive Opaque Red]
$31.99  31.99

Grounded in a season of life that has been earned rather than borrowed, Benjamin Tod speaks with the ease of someone no longer running from himself. There is joy now - a steadiness that comes from commitment. With the recent arrival of his son and a deep well of new music on the horizon, Tod is firmly rooted in both purpose and possibility. That clarity is evident in Vengeance and Grace, the Lost Dog Street Band frontman's forthcoming and most expansive solo album to date. Conceived as a "dual-version" release, the project presents two parallel worlds: (Alone) is a stripped solo-acoustic version, along with its full band counterpart. Together, the two versions form the full range of what Tod is capable of: restraint on one side, force on the other. At the core of Tod's writing is a simple conviction: music should serve something larger than the moment. His writing speaks to mind, body, and soul, shaped by faith, discipline, and a hard-earned understanding of consequence. The darkness that once defined him is neither denied nor indulged. It is understood and no longer in control. Today, Tod moves with a sense of calm that wasn't always there. He is grateful, settled, and intentional, continuing to follow the compass that's guided him from the beginning. Rooted in traditional country and folk, his work stands firmly in the modern music landscape, shaped by experience, restraint, and the life he's built around it.

Emerson, Lake & Palmer's third studio album teems with exacting arrangements, copious overdubs, and multi-hued colors that showcase the band's willingness to experiment and desire to put everything in it's proper place without becoming too self-serious. Expanding by distilling the ferocious power of it's debut and epic leanings of the preceding Tarkus into a more accessible whole, Trilogy stands as the most representative example of the ensemble's trademark styles.Mastered at MoFi's California studio, housed in a Stoughton gatefold jacket, and pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing, Mobile Fidelity's numbered-edition 180g 33RPM LP of Trilogy presents the gold-certified effort in audiophile quality marked by clear, direct, and dynamic sound. The first LP released on Ray Charles' Tangerine Records imprint in 1963, Jimmy Scott's Falling in Love is Wonderful exists as one of the most mythic albums in vocal jazz. Due to contract disputes with his former label, Scott's Tangerine debut was shelved shortly after it was released - much like it's Atlantic Records follow-up, The Source - and went un-reissued for decades. Ultimately, Scott, a favorite of his contemporaries like Ella Fitzgerald, never became the star he should have been, but this album remains his masterpiece: A loving, tender collection filled with Scott's masterful work around a ballad.

When you name your band Prince Daddy & The Hyena, you sort of accept that chaos isn’t a chapter in your story – it’s the entire ethos. Since forming out of Albany, NY’s DIY scene, Prince Daddy & The Hyena have built a career out of reaching their breaking point and continuing forward anyway. Their first LP, produced by Joe Reinhart, captured a very young band figuring things out in real time; their massive conceptual undertaking Cosmic Thrill Seekers followed and pushed their ambition (and patience) to new extremes. Not long after, a serious van accident nearly took their lives, directly informing the intensity of their self-titled record. Over the last decade, the band has lost close friends and collaborators, endured relationship struggles, and faced countless moments that would have ended most bands without question. But those experiences never slowed Prince Daddy & The Hyena down. On their upcoming fourth album, Hotwire Trip Switch, they recalibrate and reconnect with their roots while sounding more focused and self-aware than ever. Reuniting with Joe Reinhart for the first time in nearly a decade, the album pulls from the punchy lineage of Green Day, the hook-driven quirk of Weezer, the snarky urgency of Joyce Manor and Jeff Rosenstock – all through the distinctly bratty lens of songwriter and vocalist Kory Gregory. He’s backed by an airtight band including guitarist Cameron Handford, drummer and vocalist Daniel Gorham, and bassist Jordan Chmielowski. The album’s title comes from a lyric on the track “Crash Taylor,” and captures the chaotic, unstable, and sometimes unsafe energy that Prince Daddy & The Hyena thrive in. Ultimately, Hotwire Trip Switch is an album about surviving on borrowed time and borrowed electricity, pretending like somehow, that’s a sustainable approach to life. Despite being known for crafting full-length experiences and hiding easter eggs between tracks, Hotwire Trip Switch was written as Prince Daddy’s first-ever “singles” record. Kory purposefully went into the writing process with a mission to actualize entire visions between the beginning and ending of individual songs, rather than relying on the context to click only during a full album listen. Without the added pressure to connect the dots, the result is some of the band’s catchiest and most instant material to date. Across the album’s 12 tracks, Hotwire Trip Switch shows off drastically different sides of Prince Daddy & The Hyena where exaggerating and experimenting are simply tools for sharpening and zeroing in on each song’s vision. “Big Box Store Heart” is his warped attempt at writing a love song, inspired by the loneliness of going grocery shopping without his partner. “24-03-04_Birthday_B4” was written and finished in a single, mushroom-fueled day that Kory calls his “best birthday ever.” In the end, Hotwire Trip Switch doesn’t attempt to escape the chaos that seems to follow Prince Daddy & The Hyena like a shadow. Instead, it embraces it – wires running hot, pushed past their limits, and somehow still charging forward into whatever comes next. The vinyl is a 12" LP in a standard jacket with a double-sided insert including album lyrics and credits. ----- The indie record store exclusive color variant is Half Orange & Half Lemon Yellow vinyl, in a limited edition of 500 copies. The general retail variant is on Neon Magenta colored vinyl, in a limited edition of 550 copies. The CD is in a jewel case and includes a 16-page booklet of album lyrics and credits.

KONNAKOL, ZAYN’s fifth studio album, is his most culturally inspired project to date. The pop-forward album expands on the sound fans first heard on his record-breaking debut studio album, Mind of Mine. KONNAKOL in its definition is the act of creating percussive sounds with one’s voice but what it means to ZAYN lies somewhere much deeper. It is a sound that holds the reverberation of a time before words existed. Drawing on his own heritage for inspiration, this album is a development of that understanding, knowing more now than ever, who he is, where he comes from and where he intends to go.

Romanticize The Dive [Indie Exclusive Metallic Silver]
$25.99  25.99
chart cover
Metric’s relentless pursuit of timeless songwriting and fiercely independent ethos have cemented their place as one of the most essential and ahead-of-the-curve bands of the last two decades. The trailblazing Toronto outfit was founded by songwriting and production partners Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw, along with bandmates Joshua Winstead and Joules Scott Key. Though both were also founding members of the influential and sprawling Canadian indie rock outfit Broken Social Scene, Metric was always the top priority, and shortly after they met and cemented their mission, they left Toronto for New York in search of like-minded artists. There, they found themselves at the center of the city’s burgeoning indie sleaze scene alongside bands like LCD Soundsystem, The Strokes, TV On the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol. Their 10th studio album Romanticize The Dive harkens back to the free spirit of that era, kicking off with Haines nostalgically imploring the listener to “let me take you back, it was the start of something...” before pulling back the curtain on a band that has consistently stayed true to each other and their ethics for decades. In a tribute to lifelong friendship, the album also reunites the dream team behind their 2009 breakout album Fantasies at Electric Lady Studios in New York. All at once a heartfelt reflection on their history, a celebratory gift to those who have been along for the ride, and an outstretched hand to new fans, Romanticize The Dive is another testament to the band’s unwavering love for each other and their insatiable desire to push themselves as artists.

Lost Cause Lover Fool [Indie Exclusive Iridescent Green]
$24.99  24.99
chart cover
On their seventh studio album, Lost Cause Lover Fool (due April 24th on Far Cry/Thirty Tigers), The Milk Carton Kids deliver 9 songs that, more than ever, invite listeners to lean in close and hover in the small moments the album magnifies. Much has changed since The Milk Carton Kids — Los Angeles-based singer-songwriters Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan — burst on the Folk scene in 2011. And The Milk Carton Kids have changed too. But at least one constant remains. Pattengale and Ryan continue to make music that entices us to turn down the volume on a chaotic world and dwell as long as possible on what matters most. With rootsy arrangements, Lost Cause Lover Fool expands on the duo’s signature minimalist sound their fans love while also, somehow, making it even smaller. Lost Cause Lover Fool begins with the lonesome pluck and strum of the banjo on “Blue Water.†Often employed either for lightning-speed or rhythm, here the banjo is handled carefully, with reticence, so that it feels more like light cast across a stretch of grass than a whole bluegrass instrument. Lyrically, this album-opener zooms in on a snapshot of a man walking along a riverside, remembering the child that used to lay on his chest who has now grown to share his worried mind. It’s a moment so small it might easily have been dismissed, except that it holds an emotion as universal as it is fleeting. Lost Cause Lover Fool magnifies many such small moments, turns them into mesmerizing worlds, and reminds us — pleads with us — to pay attention to them as they go by.

Graceland Way [Golden Poppy]
$29.99  29.99
chart cover
Acclaimed harpist and songwriter Mikaela Davis' new album, Graceland Way (due TK via Kill Rock Stars), builds an expansive, kaleidoscopic neo-western dystopia from the cozy origin point-that duality compounded by a subtle exploration of light and dark, grace and struggle, rose and thorn, as well as the mystical power found at their meeting points. The "canyon country" epic born of that work is indebted to the titular street in Chevy Chase Canyon where she recorded the album, the lineage of Laurel Canyon, the mythos of Elvis's Graceland, and Paul Simon's restless reinvention. "At the end of the journey, the place you were destined for all along isn't even a place, it's a state of mind: Graceland Way," Davis says. Featuring an unreleased Cass McCombs track (Mizmoon) as well as contributions from Karley Hartzman (Wednesday), Tim Heidecker, Madison Cunningham, Neal Francis, James Felice (The Felice Brothers), Clay Finch (Mapache) & Hannah Read.

Africa/Brass (Verve Acoustic Sounds Series) [180 Gram]
$38.98  38.98
chart cover
Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Africa/Brass, released in 1961, was John Coltrane's first album for Impulse! Records and a turning point in his recorded output. Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder's studio and produced by Creed Taylor, the project expanded Coltrane's working quartet into a large ensemble, pairing his searching tenor and soprano saxophone with dense, brass-heavy orchestrations by Cal Massey. Arrangements by Eric Dolphy and McCoy Tyner helped shape the album's distinctive sound, weaving tuba, euphonium, French horns, and more into a powerful backdrop for Coltrane's improvisations. With key contributions from trumpeters Booker Little and Freddie Hubbard, bassist Reggie Workman, drummer Elvin Jones, and others, Africa/Brass reframed the idea of a "big band." One of the most important early Impulse! Releases, Africa/Brass announced Coltrane's arrival on the "house that Trane built" with radical clarity. Verve Acoustic Sounds Series is remastered from the original analog tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl.

End Is Not The End [Orange]
$31.98  31.98
chart cover
The End is Not the End is undeniably Atreyu's heaviest and most adventurous album ever. "We realized what made Atreyu great in the beginning was that we didn't sound like anyone else," frontman Brandon Saller explains. "We didn't really make sense anywhere. We weren't an emo band, a metal band, a punk band - but somehow it all worked. We kind of just carved our own path." Unburdened by false restrictions about anything sounding "too heavy" or "too pop," ATREYU remains a creative beacon of hope for those shaken by the suggestion that "rock is dead." They've entered the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 more than once, and two of their albums are certified gold. Produced by Matt Pauling, Atreyu's tenth album is vibrant, inventive, and beautifully aggressive. "It's our heaviest, most metal record we've made," Saller points out. "But it's also the biggest musical journey we've taken in years."
