Haley Bonar returns with her sixth full length album, Impossible Dream, which also happens to be hands-down her best work yet. The new self-produced album was tracked live-to-tape with her five piece band at the legendary Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, MN and mixed by Chris Coady (Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TVOTR) and Robbie Lackritz (Feist, Bahamas). The songs on Impossible Dream tell stories within stories, sitting side each other like Russian nesting dolls, of sexuality, lost youth, teenage parenthood, the lines of social disorder for women, and the terror of jealousy and suspicion.
