More Info:

The highly anticipated sophomore album from Shiny Toy Guns is the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed debut, We Are Pilots. STG spent the better half of two years on and off the road progressing their dance/rock and electronic roots. They used 2008 technology to marry dynamic late'70s style synthesizer programming with face-erasing stoner rock.

Reviews:

''Season of Poison'' is the second studio album by American band Shiny Toy Guns. On August 5, 2008, keyboardist/bassist Jeremy Dawson announced through the band's MySpace that the second studio album was complete. It was released on November 4, 2008. The album featured a new female vocalist, Sisely Treasure.

''Season of Poison'' generated less hype than ''We Are Pilots'' and failed to sell well, resulting in a low sales count of 60,000 copies. In 2009 Jeremy Dawson admitted via Shiny Toy Guns' official website that while he believes ''Season of Poison'' is a great album, it was indeed too different too soon, and promised a return to their electronic roots for Shiny Toy Guns' third album.

The album's first single was "Ricochet!", which hit #17 on the Alternative Songs Chart in November, 2008. The album's second single was "Ghost Town", which hit #26 on the Alternative Songs Chart in March, 2009. The album peaked #47 on the Billboard 200 Chart. - Wikipedia
